Your Love is Strong

Tonight we had Wacky Wednesday with youth group. We had dinner at Chick-fi-la and then headed to a house to have youth. We played air hockey and pool and wii and darts and then we all gathered to play a game, sing and listen to a talk by Drew.

Drew talked about friends and how we should pray for wise friends. We shouldn't wear masks to impress people and that when we become confident in who we are in Christ, we become comfortable with who He has made us to be.

On the way home, Drew played the song Your Love is Strong by Jon Foreman and I sat in the back of the car and soaked the promise of the lyrics in. I long for these kids to know these Truths. The Truths that God loves them and made and accepts them just as they are - and that His love is strong, stronger than anything in this world. And so that is my prayer, that each of them, each of us would trust the strength of God's strong love - which is better than any of the world's acceptance.
