Questions for God - Why does God let some people be rich and some be poor?
We watched a video that juxtaposed the American child to a foreign child who was human trafficked.

Then the question was asked: why does God let some people be rich and some poor?
Youth Answers

• "it's not what we've been given, but what we do with what we've been given. "


• "some people don't need to be rich"


• "We get our reward in heaven, but they get it now"

Scripture: Matthew 25:31-40 -separation of the sheep and the goats
You go to heaven if you love Jesus - and then your heart follows after that.

Question for the youth: What do you have that has not been given to you?

Answer: Nothing - God has given us everything and we begin to give to others.So... Why are there poor and rich?
Youth Answer: "So we can give away"
Thought: Jesus is saying, "If you believe in me, you'll realize your nothing without me."

Thoughts for the week: When have you been selfish this week? and What is God calling you to share?

Homework: To reread Matthew 25:31-40 and love people through Jesus in ways you usually wouldn't.
